Hyaluronic acid injections, commonly referred to as dermal fillers, are designed to give the skin a more youthful and revitalised appearance. These fillers are carefully injected beneath the skin to restore volume lost with age and to smooth out and plump both fine and deeper facial lines. Once injected, hyaluronic acid begins working straight away and continues to hydrate the skin over time, leading to a plumper and younger-looking complexion.
Duration and Treatment Areas
Dermal fillers generally last between 6 and 18 months, with most people seeing results for around 12 months. The longevity of the filler depends on both the area being treated and the specific product used. Our clinic provides filler treatments for the cheeks, lips, chin, nasolabial folds, marionette lines, perioral lines, accordion lines, and jawline. However, we do not offer fillers for the area between the brows, under the eyes, or for changing the shape of the nose.
Skin Booster Option
We also offer a skin booster from a reputable European company. This product contains a unique combination of two powerful hydrating ingredients—hyaluronic acid and glycerol. The skin booster is formulated to improve skin hydration, enhance elasticity and firmness, minimise fine lines, boost radiance and glow, and improve overall skin texture.
Consultation and Treatment Process
During your first consultation, we will carefully assess your needs and discuss whether volume correction is appropriate for you. We then develop a personalised treatment plan based on your goals. Product choices, pricing, and any possible risks will be discussed in detail. Whenever possible, we use a cannula for the procedure to minimise risk and downtime.
Risks and Safety Measures
Although dermal fillers are generally considered safe, there are potential risks, including vascular occlusion (which can result in tissue damage if not treated quickly), allergic reactions, infections, and uneven results. Recognising and addressing complications early is critical, as some issues can be serious and require immediate medical intervention. We strictly adhere to safety protocols and only use fillers that can be dissolved with Hyalase in the event of an emergency or overfilling. Non-dissolvable fillers are not used in our practice.
