Light Emitting Diode (LED) Therapy

LED (Light Emitting Diode) treatment, also known as LED light therapy, works by using different wavelengths of light to stimulate cellular activity in the skin, promoting healing, reducing inflammation, and improving skin appearance. Different colors of light (red, blue, yellow, etc.) are used to target specific skin concerns by penetrating the skin at varying depths.

We use MediLux Medical Grade Light Therapy and strictly follow clinical protocols.

How it works:

Blue light (420nm)

Reduces sebaceous activity and acne vulgaris. Works to clear congestion and kills acne-causing bacteria.

Green light (520 nm)

Assists with skin tone correction and aids detoxification to reduce redness and irritation for a calm, balanced complexion.

Yellow light (590nm)

Stumulates collagen production and assists wound repair to naturally heal and regenerate skin from within. Beneficial for rosacea and post-laser treatments.

Red light (633nm)

Increases blood circulation and lymphatic flow to encourage cellular renewal and promote a youthful complexion. Red and near-infrared light can stimulate fibroblasts, cells responsible for producing collagen and elastin, which are crucial for skin elasticity and firmness.

Near-Infrared Light (830nm)

Increases white blood cell production to regenerate, rejuvenate and tighten aging skin. Works to boost ATP (adenosine triphosphate) for deep cellular regeneration and wound healing. This wavelength can help reduce inflammation and promote tissue repair.

MediLux LED treatments can be combined with many other rejuvenation treatments, such as microneedling, chemical peels, Tixel, RF skin tightening, PRP, Sonophoresis and injectables.
